Wow, that's terrible! Did you ever try to dispute the chargebacks or was Paypal not able to get your money back?

By the way, what is it with scammers always choosing the name "Mohamed"? In the last few years, all of the scammers I've encountered were all named "Mohamed". The most notable of them all was Mohamed Saleem Sleem, the Nigerian King (that was how he referred to himself).

Yeah, usually you are suppose to withdraw a bit at a time, and not a huge chunk, or else they'll think you are trying to get away with something, -at which point they'll examine the funds and wait for any reports prior to clearing the transfer.

Long-story-short, to resolve this, I had to authorize them to deduct 282 from my account to be transferred to cover the balance of the negative account.

Why did you do that? Okay, you did it because you didn't want a frozen PayPal account, but you shouldn't have done that. You paid for someone else's theft. Did you ask to speak to a supervisor?

When you try to enter a CC that is already in the system, it rejects it. I know because years ago I set up a second PayPal account and used my other CC. Tried to enter it into my working PP and it was rejected. So, something is missing from the story.

That's why i always use credit card to shop online. If something goes wrong at least you can dispute a charge.

I asked multiple times to speak to a supervisor. Each response was essentially "They won't be able to help you in any way I can't"

I keep seeing their stupid "People Rule" commercials on TV and it makes me sick! I got scammed by someone posing as a real estate broker in New York City who was really in the middle east somewhere and simply took my money and never responded. I appealed the case and they closed it without any explanation as to why.

They are scum!

That's some shitty news for paypal. I've had one instance where someone stole my identity and used my paypal. Pretty dumb considering he was using a different address than me.

paypal sucks but its most widely used and accepted by everyone specially buyers and scammers.
I read somewhere amazon is going to launch a universal payment processor soon but when no idea i wish there is someone with big names likes amazon apple microsoft or even facebook to start something as paypal is the king right now and they do what the want to.I hope your issue gets resolved sooner.But with paypal monkeys you can never predict when.

If your in the US there is a new company you can look into . Its a new system that allows you to send a check via email or APP and it can be printed out by any standard printer * I have tested this and it worked .. Easy Speed Pay https://easyspeedpay.com/

If you want to accept checks then you need to buy the software for $360 and a $60 annual hosting fee

I've started getting my US buyers to sign up (Its Free) btw. Then i offer them a small discount to send me $$ with ESP and avoid PP fees plus little to no chargebacks since it comes straight out of their checking account.
Its not a perfect solution for sure, but they are developing an enterprise ver which would be great option for membership sites or paying out affiliate commissions...
Not sure if they plan to roll this out internationally since its so New I doubt it will happen this year but who knows ..anyway just thought i'd share * There is an affiliate program ( notice i didnt bother posting mine) so if your going to buy the software hit me up and ill send you my link..
