Another Amazon Journey Thread

This my first journey thread and i hope reaching 150$ / month within 3 months.
Thanks to Hekke, i finally get into an amazon micro niche. As Sherbert Hoover i'll only use bhw services to fill and promote the site.

I'm sorry for my english, but this is not my language.

So i will go straight to the point and so far i have :
- 1 emd (bestKWD.com) with wordpress set up since 1 month with 2 basic articles. I had little success on an other mns using the setup Hekke described, so i stick to it.
- I ordered 1 pillar article from passionatewriting about the main subject, if everything is good he'll have more to write.
- I ordered 1 free review article from epicwrite, again if everything is fine, he'll write my reviews.
- By now i'm building some social profiles (fb, linkedin, twitter, pinterest, youtube).
- I registered 3 expired tumblers i get from The SEO. I'll use them soon using Franklin Hatchett method posted on matthew woodward website

I own the french traduction of KWD.com with an amazon mns setup since end of december. I made 60€ from it by now, with few content (11 articles). As KWD is not as popular in France as it is in the US, it is quite hard to add more content on the subject so i decided to launch an english version of the site.

Keyword difficulty is around 70%, it's quite hard but i can't find any mns in competition, only amazon and manufacturers websites so i hope outranking them with good content and link building.

Guys, Thanks for presenting your plan. Really you have a taken a better decision, That's is enough to make $150 per month.
If you can run these site ( Amazon micro niche site) in a continuous way then believe you'll able to earn more than your target. I found such guys, his target was $1000 per month and at the last update he did that.
In these journey, your total cost is only $28! Mate, please try to invest more and try to work more then you'll rich the targeted goal.

I haven't been updating this thread for a while as i was waiting for content.
Website is now all set up with branded logo and social profiles too.
I received my first 1000+ words informative article from PassionateWriting which is really good. I created an infographic to illustrate the article. By now i just shared the article on my social profiles and that's all.
I ordered another informative article from PassionateWriting and i hope this will be as good as the first one.
I do not plan to do seo until i reach 10+ articles. So by now site is in stand by
Edit : Since my last post, french version of the site made 3 sales, i hope this one will do much better in a few weeks

As i had been waiting for content this week, i also launched another website based on adsense / clickbank / amazon.
I bought an 8 years old expired domain containing keyword i'd like to rank for. Site is all setup and has 3 informative articles, social profiles are all setup too and each post had been published there. I also set up a youtube channel with 1 video by now but i've got 5 more to add (tv shows talking about keyword).
My main article is published on homepage and is 2k words : it's a rewrite of google 1st result on keyword, and it passes copyscape. With the 2 others articles, site might have around 3,5k words. That's all by now

You said that the keyword is high competition then how do you building the site for that keyword.

I'm curious about your keyword choice too. What kind of software did you use that gave you a 70% difficulty rating? If the front page results are ecommerce sites, Im pretty surprised it gave you such a high difficulty.

I used Semrush to find this difficulty rating.
I don't really understand why it is considered so high as most of the first page results have only one pillar article (faq most of the time) about keyword.
Just to illustrate, third result has got those metrics : DA 12 / PA 24 / Established links 16 / root domains 5.
By now i don't really care, even if my pillars article can't rank has i expect, they'll be a great source of documentation for my readers, and i will focus on long tails keywords to make my fist sales and reinvest all profits in seo services and content.

Yesterday i received my 2nd informative 1k words article from PassionateWriting. Content is nice and i'll order two more "Best xxx xxxx xxx xxx" articles to start ranking decently. They'll have quite a bunch of keywords to rank for, with very low competition.

I also made further investigation using keyword revealer and results are quite astonishing compared to semrush :s (So i'd like to have your advice about that) :
