G-S-T, I respect you willingnes to help noobs, and I'm sure that some of them will appriciate your post.
But As someone who has used CL (and still uses it), I can tell you with all honesty that its NOT that simple.
Also, are you forgeting about PVA's and Proxies? Also, what about ghosting issues? And also, what happens when someone reports ONE of your ID's to various networks? Short URl dosen't protect against ths, take it from someone who really IS in that game.
1k a day on CL using your method was possible 2 to three years ago when most people were not aware of it and networks still didn't catch wind. NOW? Networks are wiser, and so are the people on CL.
You posting this tells me you really haven't tried this as of late, and do not know your market that well. Take it from someone who DOES know that market, CL users are alot wiser. AND....conversion rates are down. Atleast half of what they were two years ago. Using a domain redirect is honestly, a bit stone age, IMO.
Just thought I'd add that in. Sure, you can still make 1k, but its alot harder now-a-days then your letting on.
Its not all just about CL, there are hundreds of classified sites. Also there are tons of niche forums and general forums with wanted sections, not to mention ebay and other auction sites. Facebook pages, there are tons of local buy, sell and trade pages popping up.
Also, when your posting on public forums, other people will see the post then just the OP, if you hit a good forum and play it smart, you can get decent traffic.
As for covering your tracks and networks. Just make a blog on another domain. Copy and paste an article into it about how to get something for free thats related to your niche. Then put your
http://example.com/autos/ link in the blog post. Then as far as your concerned "somebody must have found your blog useful and decided to share the link you provided in the original article".
In addition to that, there are plenty of networks that are happy to accept this kind of traffic without having to bullshit the source. I am a member of a network that dont give a crap about using CL and have offers designed especially for it. But thats all im saying. They are there.
I dont know why people always fixate on the negatives, rather than just look at something from a different angle and see the potential.
Perhaps $1000 a day for a total noob is a bit far fetched, but thats just because of my mind set, im used to earning $50k a month, so scale is never an issue, i sometimes overlook the fact that some people cant even afford to buy scrapebox yet. My bad on that part.
Email submits start out at $2, you can even push your luck and go with trial offers and get $10-$50 per lead. If you spend time looking at whats on offer, there is a good earning to be made.
