I'm completely new at this so I need guidance. I want to create 1-5 websites completely anonymously. Is a proxy the way to do this?

I read online where people recommended using Tor but I read that Tor can be traced and flags your ISP? They recommended going to a coffee shop too and using the internet connection. Isn't using a proxy the same for anonymity?

If a proxy is the way to go, where would I find a recommended proxy to keep anonymnity?

Basically...how do I do this anonymously? I'm doing some good/activism with this. Anonymnity is very important though.

Using a VPS/VPN combo with a fake hosting and registrar account and VCC is your best bet I'm pretty sure. Doesn't keep you 100% safe though.

Just use private proxies and prepaid credit cards. Don't use public proxies because you can't always trust their anonymity. Buyproxies (link in my sig) has always given me great service. There are many others out there. To be really safe you could use the proxy from a coffee shop for another layer.

Would this work to remain 99-100% anonymous?

    Spoof MAC address
    Use free private proxy
Offshore host and domain, both paid with bitcoins

Could it still be traced to my ISP and my ISP would have logs of what went through my internet connection?

Does spoofing the MAC address totally cover up what computer it came from?
