Anonymous domain registration without verification in the future

Hello. As I know, there is the possibility to register a domain anonymously. But as I understand, in the future, the registrar may ask me for my ID verification (randomly). I'm talking for example .com domain. Is it true? I want to register the domain fully anonymously and not wait, that in the future registrar will ask me to provide my data. Also as I know, not all domain extensions will need verification in the future (.com as I know can ask). Which domain extension registrar can not ask for verification in the future? Any advice?

Just use registrars that don't ask for verification and hope for the best
