Yes it is. You could get your domain from Namecheap.com , which gives you free whois privacy for a year with any domain registered from them.

As he says, also, use something else than a credit card to pay for it and use fake infos along with whois protection
In over 15 years online, i've never had a domain taken from me because i used faked infos.
That is when i WANTED/NEEDED to use fake infos.

I think most Providers offer domain privacy......When I started out I always took up the option....with godaddy or registry rocket it was about $15 a year.....eventually I had too many sites/domains to worry about it any longer

Yes real easy... Theres no point having one or two sites in private as you will be linked to any other sites by your IP. Thats why i stopped bothering if they want to find out then they will.
