Anonymous domain hosting

Anyone know about truly anonymous domain hosting?

Right now my only thoughts are to open up a bank/PP in my friend's name and register it under that -- the friend is non-US

Domain hosting doesn't mean anything.

Do you mean hosting that includes a domain? Do you mean hosting that allows you to add a domain to it? Do you mean anonymous domain registration?

In any case, if your anonymity is really important to you, buy yourself a shelf corporation or LLC through a company that can provide complete anonymity for you. Then you can be Generic Solutions Incorporated instead whoever you are.

All of the above. I havent registered the domain, I have a host I love and would be rehappy to sign up with them anonymously somehow.

I'm also an expat living in Hong Kong/China, looking to save costs too. LLCs and whatnot can be up to thousand(s) of dollars. Too much for just starting....

Just get private WhoIS when you register the domain. Domain registrants like Go Daddy do this for a fee. I think namecheap offers a free one. Have a shop around.
