Hey Guys,

I am using OpenVPN with mixcascades connected through Panama, Russia, Teheran,....

But am I anonymous while surfing with enabled Java/Flash using OpenVPN?

I don't have a clue!

You should read about stuff like cookies, useragent, flash cookies as these things can be used to identify you.
Javascripts and flash usually do not risk your anonymity, java applets can be evil.

It mainly depends on the IPs you use as proxy, do they log, can they be trusted etc.

Yeah I know especially about flash cookies a lot, thx :)

My question is, if the OpenVPN GUI covers all connections?

The problem is, that if you just use foxyproxy or sth. mot all your connections
are secure.

best regards!

You should take a look at the routing table to see if there are any leaks.
Usually a vpn will set it up to tunnel everything through

Hey! Thanks for your fast support!

How can I check the routing table step by step?

I also checked my anonymity with

https://www.jondos.de/en/anontest

and my Internal IP shown is not my Real IP.
Is that a good sign?

That's a good sign, this means the proxy is not leaking your real IP. Some proxies do this, so you always have to check them for leakage.

Ok, thanks for the advice.
Its hard to find a reliable service but I got a very good one.
PM me if anyone is interested.
Kind regards!

a VPN is not "leaking" an IP, it's no http or web proxy.

You can use the "route" command to see the route.
But I'm almost sure it's alright, if your IP is correctly masqueraded (you can check it on my proxy checker, see my sig) it should be fine.

Of course java applets and executables might be able to get your real IP

with a VPN you are protected since VPN is assigning you the same ip on all ports there is no way they could see it by any other means :)
