Animoto Moola Method -easy $200 a day

I'm posting this for all the noobs where are blindly chasing stupid ways to make money. This is a real way to make real money this week if you want to and if you actually work instead of wasting time searching forums for secrets and watching porn.

LOL, you really made my day with this sentence :))

I just ran across Photodex Proshow here an hour ago, and downloaded it.
Looks great... should be for $250.

Start with the free version of Animoto. $5/month eliminates the Animoto tag at the end. Once you've uploaded 10 photos, create two text boxes - one near the beginning and one near the end. It will take you less than 5 min./video.

Get Google Places Cash Generator here. Folder 4 has 20 videos that will teach you how to name the photos, use 10 of them for Google Places, and use them to create 5 videos for YouTube. Be sure to resize the photos to web size and 72 dpi. The photos you will be given will probably be 5mb+.

The YouTube videos will be titled and tagged with the businesses keywords.
Now you are getting into SEO without much effort.

I got this from a WSO: Do video interviews with owners. Your smart phone will work fine (not too far away). Create a website of videos of businesses in a town. It will be your portfolio, but other businesses will want to be listed.

So you have plenty of uses for the videos.

Slightly off topic, but as long as you are calling on a local business. Convert their site to a mobile site. About 30 seconds using dudamobile. Two minutes more to add the phone button and the address button. I like the white on black template on page 4 at the bottom. Use Firefox to view it. Internet Explorer doesn't render the buttons right.

New from Google: howtogomo dot com. You test their site and say "Google rates you site as.... Google says you are losing business."

Truly, with Animoto and dudamobile you can make money with minimal skills.

Why stick to Animoto when you have such a wide range of great software products for slideshow creation with no licencing issues: http://photo-slideshow-software-review.toptenreviews.com/
Find, download and start creating your customized videos for free. It might take little bit longer than on Animoto (1-2 hours per video) but man, this isn't a drawback. The only problem you will face in this video creation niche is finding clients. I doubt that you will manage to get more than couple of clients per week no matter how much you advertise or cold call this stuff. Video is not the primary need of a local business. Their primary expenses are office rent, electricity, salary to their employees. Such things as video will stand on the 100 place. People pay for things that their business can't survive without. Everything more is considered unnecessary.

This is my first post on BHW and I'm glad it's a successful one.

I read this early last Wednesday morning and immediately took action. I was going to make those 12 movies yada yada...and make it all big. In fact, I went so far as to get a domain and hosting for my chosen niche and made a few videos (pro account on animoto) but I stopped there. I sent out about 25 completely personalized emails and I started instantly getting back emails saying "if you made this with animoto, I'm not paying." (in about 11 different ways). Oops. Wrong niche. I had picked photographers as a niche (as I am one myself) but photographers are very creative in this way anyway so, back to the drawing board.

The same day, I picked another niche that was guaranteed to: 1. be fairly inept in marketing online and 2. be guaranteed to have lots of pictures on their website. I'm sorry, I won't tell you what it is because it has proven very successful for me and there are lots of niches out there. You should be able to figure one out. The third thing I made sure I found before I started on the website and videos was an online industry directory with first names and emails so that I could send personalized emails.

With all that found, I seriously just slapped together 4 videos, embedded them on a clean white blogger template (I didn't bother with domain or hosting, the day was almost over) with a short note, and started blasting emails.

Now, I said I did all of this last Wednesday. That was the day before Thanksgiving. I still got responses and requests and made 5 videos between Wednesday and Friday. The weekend was less busy than the holiday! I'm getting 3 responses per 100 emails sent and have closed all of them.

I think there are 3 things that have been key for me:

1. I am very cordial and clear in my email. "I hope this email finds you well, I am writing to offer you...Have a wonderful day."

2. Emails go to the personal email account and are addressed to the recipient, thanks to the directory. I just paste the text of my email into my signature in my settings so all I have to do is hit compose, paste the email address, write in the subject, and change the name. I can send 100 in 40 minutes. If you don't have 3 little boys interrupting you every 5 minutes, you can probably cut that in half.

3. I include this statement in my email and on my site: "request a video today. There is no obligation unless you absolutely love it." So, every email "request" I have gotten says "okay, lets see what you can do." I reply with an email saying they'll have a video to review within 24 hours and I have been paid within 24 hours every time. Granted, I've only been doing this for 5 days but, that's what it's been like so far.

I send them the unbranded link (under "share") and give them 24 hours to accept or reject or request changes. I figure, if anyone ever acts like they won't follw through, I'll just delete the video. I'm not too worried, though.

So, anyway, I'm happy. It's working. I've completed 5 sales and there are 2 more in the pipeline (waiting for review) and I've just sent out 100 more emails. One thing has to be said:

I did this as a stay at home mom with 3 little boys aged 2,4, and 6 (I homeschool the 6 year old). I don't have a single moment of peace and little more than 1 hour in a stretch where I can get away with sitting at the computer. The fact that I am writing this doesn't mean I actually have spare time - it means that I am so grateful that this has worked that I am stealing time to detail what I've done - to help others. This project has taken up every second of my "spare" time but I'm doing it.

If you have more time than me, you have no excuses not to make money on this. Also, I'm not proud of it but, I used grocery money to buy the pro account but, hey, so what? I took action and made my money back the next day - with the first video. I'm charging less than $100 but that works with my niche. And I'm happy with the income.

DON'T PICK THIS APART! Just do it.

Also, I don't have time to hang around and answer questions. It's not that I don't care. I'll check back in when I can.

Things are going very well. Almost too well. I sent a total of 450 emails and have made 25 videos. I've had a few people needing more than one video and one lady asked for 7 videos. I am very very busy.

The reactions are funny. Sometimes I send the review video with all of the fuzzy pictures from their website with a note asking for clearer pictures. Everyone always says, "oh, it's so great! I think the pictures are fine!" One lady even told me her video made her cry. Crazy.

So, I'm very pleased with the outcome but I'm also not taking any more work until the beginning of January because I'm going cross country to visit family. The money I've made from this will definitely help on the trip.

Another note: everyone keeps talking about cold calling and that it won't work unless you call and all that. Those are just excuses. Every single sale I have made was from a courteous email. I have only had one person call me and that was the lady who had 7 videos. She just wanted to nail everything down.

Try this.

It works.

-Kathryn

Nice share, thanks man. I will definetly try this

Great thread, I am also doing videos (see my signature), mainly with AE, but OP gave some new tips to get more business, haven't used animoto since long but one video for a cpa offer on youtube still giving me $1-2 a day without doing anything

Belated Update:

I ended up making $500 in the space between Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was fast, easy money. There is one issue though: the clients were a pain in the rear. They wanted to make change after change after change and then they wanted to complain some more. This is fairly usual but I'm sure I could have avoided it by not having my "love it or don't pay" policy. Of course, that got me fast business and money in the bank. Frankly, I am going to do some serious tweaking. I have a lot of experience doing it now and lots of samples so I can easily raise my price. Also, the great thing about using the clients' photos is the fact that there's no concern about copyright infringement. But, of course, there are plenty of clients out there with REALLY crappy photos. "Yeah, my brother in law is a photographer". Sheesh.

I have had quite a few requests for the email I send out so, here it is. It's great in its simplicity - I'm getting roughly 6% response rate.

The only hard and fast rule? Use the person's name. I found the names by doing a search for "niche name" "member directory". That gave me quite a few industry associations with member directories I could search by state. It has to be one that has the email clearly printed on the info page. I would just go down the list, right click on the "more info" link for each member, and select "open in new tab". I would have roughly 20 tabs open at a time and then I would just change the name in my email, copy and paste the address, and put in the subject.

The best way to do this? Put the email into your signature box. That way, you just open a new email and the email is already there for you to send. Select the Salutation (Dear so-and-so), change it to the proper name, enter the email address and subject, and send. This way, you can do about 4 a minute.

JUST DON'T FORGET TO CHANGE THE SIGNATURE FOR OTHER EMAILS! That's a big snafu I did more than once.

THE EMAIL---------

SUBJECT: [Your Niche] Videos

Dear Bob, (you would be surprised how many Bobs there were in my niche!)

I hope this email finds you well. My name is ____________ and I am writing
to offer you my [niche] Video Creation Service. I have created
videos for [niche job title: i.e. photographers] such as yourself that you
can view here: {hyperlink text: [niche] Videos} - and I wanted to let you
know that I have a special running right now. My service has been reduced
from ___ to just ___ per video - that's ridiculously affordable considering
this service can run up to $397. Anyone who puts in a zero obligation order
today gets this great rate.

Please take the time to watch the videos on my site. If you like them and
would like to showcase your [niche business type] with a video as well, please let me know and I will create a video for you with no obligation to buy unless you
absolutely love it.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I hope you have a
wonderful week.

Warmest Regards,

Creator: {hyperlink text: [niche] Videos}

____________________________________________
{hyperlink text: [niche] Videos}: This is what sets you apart.

END EMAIL----------------

Once more, the best way to do this is to
1. create this email as your email signature
2. Open a new email
3. Copy and paste the email address into the proper box
4. Copy the {hyperlink text: [niche] Videos} after "creator:" and paste that into the subject line
5. Change the Salutation to the proper name.
6. Click send

Bada bing bada boom.

I hope someone acts on this. It was a huge HUGE help when I really needed cash. It wasn't for Christmas either - I had a traffic ticket that had to be paid PRONTO. That's some serious stress. This paid it and I am so grateful.

Thanks everybody for your input!

I just came across this thread by accident and think the idea is great.

Thanks to the OP for sharing the technique and thanks to Kathryn for
updating her progress.

Kathryn have you any more updates as I would love to get started
with this but would love to hear some more tips from your experience.

Do you send them the video file or just post the video on your "company"
you tube account and let them take the embed code or do both.

My plan was going to offer the "$597" video for a discounted $197 then
upsell a first page on Google for there video for "$97", this could be achieved
easily by targeting a long tail local keyword with no comp. Maybe even get a
SEO maintenance contract (for $25/month) to keep the video on top, and do this by
sending a fiverr gig of backlinks once a month if necessary. The final up sell would be an
optimized site build for them with a monthly seo package, even if they have a site the new
one could out perform their existing one and just point to it or just be a "review" site pointing to
there existing site.

There are so many possibilities to expand this idea.

I would love to hear from anyone working on this system including an update from Kathryn or
even more thoughts or ideas from others.

Thanx in advance.

Read the whole thread, KUDOS to the op. And yes Animoto is great, I often use it, as well as a variety of other tools to create my vids... And Kathryn, wow girl, you have proven that this works. I have my own thread here on BHW for selling videos, but you've PROVEN the concept and the fact we simply need to take action... THE KEY to so many things in IM and in life...
