Animoto Moola Method -easy $200 a day

That's per license..so each time you do a video you need to pay that for the individual company. What I'm not understanding here is why if people have legit video/editing skills, they just don't offer that service period. Most videographers make 75 bucks an hour. Way more than 200 dollars.
Whoever posted this in the first place doesn't have a clue what they're talking about. No offense either to anyone who is trying this with the gyms but you've got to remember..this is low buget low quality stuff..it'll attract certain gyms but not the ones on top. I've seen posts here by people saying that companies don't know any better. That's a load of bunk. That's like saying people would settle for commodore 64 games vs xbox360. Come on. There's no reason to bs anyone here. These slideshows may make you a few bucks..actually I know they will because I've seen a few people use the same program to make cash online but in the real world, you need to step your game up. If you're just trying to rip people off by using means that are illegal, you get what you deserve. This is beyond blackhat. You're committing total fraud. Jail time.

Not easy, But hard, These steps can't be taken by everyone.

There is a very simple workaround to the pro license issue and it was partially mentioned by a previous post. I have been using Animoto for a quite a while now in a similar business model but much like Hexalor pointed out, I don't use it as a stand alone business. it's only one slice of a bigger pie. Without getting too much into my business model, it's similar to Local Business Money Machine.

That being said, there are two key questions on the FAQ page of Animoto's site that apply here:

Q: Do I retain copyrights and other legal rights to my videos?
A: Yes. You retain all rights to your content. Animoto assumes no copyright to your material.

Q:What happens to my videos after my Animoto Pro account expires?
A:
*As before, Animoto will only host your videos while your account is active.
* However, you may now use Animoto videos you have downloaded even when your account has expired.
* As always, you are responsible for ensuring your use is in compliance with applicable laws.

So here is the simple, legal step by step solution:

1. Get yourself a Pro account (we pay $39 monthly, it's more than an annual account at the end of the year but this way, we have flexibility if something better comes along, besides, it's tax deductable.)

2. Intead of $200 per video, charge $239.00 with $39.00 being a one-time licensing fee. (we charge $395.00 to create a 60 second video and we get it easily but we also bundle it with other services).

3. Sign up for a monthly billed pro account on behalf of your customer - your cost $39.00

4. Create the video for your customer but be sure to add their URL into the video itself because the link feature does not stick on downloaded videos.

5. Download the video for your customer in as many formats as you will need including higher resolutions for DVD. Make sure to burn a DVD for your client with your logo and information on the label - it shows you're a pro.

6. Keep track of your customer's email address and account details in case there are questions about the license.

7. Cancel the monthly membership for your client after you are finished with the project and everything is downloaded.

Now if you're just doing videos, this can certainly get a bit tricky but the question is, why are you just doing videos? If they want a video, they most likely also recognize they need other help as well - Give them what they need! (SEO, social media branding, link building, blogging, web design, landing pages, email capture/list building, etc. etc. etc.) Turn a $239 sale into $2500 or more. Give them $150 bucks off if they introduce you to two other businesses, etc. etc. Think and earn!

As another post mentioned, if you're just doing video, you should eventually move into professional video production software anyway or just outsource it and mark it up. There are guys all over the freelance boards that will produce a quality 60 second video from slides or video clips for $75-$150.

The OP's method is a great start for someone who wants to get started with a legit offline / online business - just tweak it a bit, use your imagination and be creative with your solutions. There is a TON of money to be made helping small businesses with their online presence. Again, Think and Earn!

Instead of using Animoto, there is a far better program (available from another forum) called ProShow Producer that is far superior. Just google it and you can find it.

Also, one other suggestion, instead of using music just listen to your local radio station for ads running. Contact the business and tell them you can set their ad into the slideshow, then upload to youtube, facebook and to their website.

I to agree that ProShow Producer is sweet.I just got it and it is looking like it will kick butt.
A warrior Josh Anderson has some excellent video tools as well.
Another guy is producing generic videos about lawyers and chiropractors and others.
He posts them on Youtube, gets them ranked high by getting many subscribers and other seo methods then once ranked... he rents that local video for a monthly fee.
He can add captions for the businesses phone number or web address. If they stop paying the monthly, he takes their info off and rents it to their competitor.

my input is something I see on this board a lot is people pointing out their objections with something and not a work-around or fix for it.

it's like you are half way to making a useful comment and then stop mid statement.
it is totally fine if you dont agree with something and feel as strongly as some of you do about something. but just as well as you give all that energy to feeling so strongly that something won't work express what adjustment would make it work in your eyes.
that allows for all involved to grow. you get to stretch that part of your brain on the other side of disapproval and get some benefit out of. and then not only do we respect your opinion, we welcome, look forward to it and appreciate it.

importantly, there are no restrictions on what you do with the finished videos once you've made them which means you can still use the animoto method but without animoto's restrictive clauses. it costs $250 for the superduper version and guess what's sat here free of charge in bhw downloads section?

Good thread and all but I what I see here is copyright enfringement. Just like when you grab some images from ghetty images and a year later receive a $5000 bill because you used the images without paying for them.

Then pay for them!!!! Or just ask the business to provide you with pics, or invest in a nice camera then take the pics yourself!

It's easy to get around things like this, you just gotta use the cool thing called "brain".

I made my first cold call today to a Chinese restaurant. Got some manager on the line who wasn't the owner. I saw their print ad in the local area magazine and it was positioned next to a fashion show's ad at a local country club so it's not targeted whatsoever. Anyway, the dude basically said their manager only invests in advertisement if he sees that it's working. I asked when the owner would be in and he balked after that. I made a few videos already with proshow producer. I can see this method working out pretty nice. I just have to finish my site first I guess.

If you look on the animoto page animoto.com/pricing and go with the mouse over commercial license you will see, that you can sell the animoto videos. Here are some more ideas to do with the videos in the off line area

My last business was for a bride fashion store to make a long video with all the pictures they had. The bought 2 times a 42" LED TVs and put this in the shop window and --> it looks so amazing and the videos from animoto look so fantastic. The shop owner and the customer are so happy about this new advertising --> She ask me for a website with short videos

Quite interesting method you shared, I must pass it because I'm on adsense...learnt that if I do something I must concentrate on what I do, there are 10xxx methods to do money and if you try them all, you will be average on all...
