    Hi guys,

    when I was wondering what changes in the display window of BHCB might increase the CR I finally decided to insert an animated loading bar and the text "Checking for response" below so it seems there is really some software in the background running and not just some "pop up window". Think about it. When you use megaupload, rapidshare and all the other you always have something like a countdown, a loading bar, the "checking for..." - text. As we cannot use a countdown we can make it appear that they really need to complete the cpa offer since our script is checking whether they do.

    You see 3% in conversion might not seem much for some of you but it can make a huge difference depending on your traffic. Anyway here is the code that you need to insert in the lock.js file

    // FOOTER TEXT BELOW THE LINKS
    var blocker_footerText = '<center><img src="loader.gif"/></center><br/><center>Checking for Response</center>';

    And you need to upload the attached file into the same folder as the lock.js

    That's it. Enjoy.

    I made everything you said, changed the footer text and uploaded the .gif, but the animation didn't show up on when the page is locked. Played around with the html commands, but couldn't handle the problem. Only the "Checking for Response" is there, the loader.gif above is missing.

    I have uploaded the same files to an old domain of mine.

    Just visit the URL below and see whether it works. If it doesn't there might be an issue with the settings of your browser.

    w3w.destr0yapproachanxiety[dot]info

    And feel free to complete a CPA offer :)

    I've got it working!
    It did also not work when i uploaded the loader.gif to my directory, but if you just copy the URL from the loader.gif from this thread and it should be working!

    Thanks you for this!:)

    Hi Otjeh,

    Glad that it works.

    But still I am curious why it doesn't work for the rest.

    Anybody her who got it to work just the way it is?

    @otjeth: if I undersrand you right you used the BHW link like bhw[dot]com..../loader.gif ? If I were you I would try loading it to my domain and instead of using a relative to the folder reference like src="loader.gif" use an absolute reference like src="yourdomain.com/loader.gif"

    Tell me whether it worked

    That is the thing I am going to do, because I don't get the problem solved.

    Yeah i've got it working now

    Yes the problem was that i needed to place the absolute reference instead of just doing img src loader,gif

    Can't really show you how i have it because i can't put URLs in my replies yet!
    Hopefully this will work for other people! :)

    Thanks again angelus

    Well first I wouldn't know how to program it second the visitor decides whether this is for real when he first sees it not after. So if he wouldn't belief this is for real he wouldn't click on it and the checking bar afterwards would be of no help.

    And since the above syntax with the relative reference doesn't work for most guys here is the new one

    // FOOTER TEXT BELOW THE LINKS
    var blocker_footerText = '<center><img src="http://w3w.yourdomain[dot]com/loader.gif"/></center><br/><center>Checking for Response</center>';

    You'd be amazed at how many small tweaks like this can raise your conversion rate. 3% is absolutely massive in my book--if you're running PPC or anything else, even a fraction of 1% can essentially make or break a campaign.
