In my opinion create profile but don't put signature for next 7 day and then put after 7 days , again wait for 15 days and possible then post relevant post in forum.

There is no single method of getting backlinks. The most important thing is that you need to target high PR websites and blogs with related contents to your website.If you have good strategy and few tools like AMR, BMD, Scrapebox etc, you will be fine.

But there are confusion lots of senior member of forum says links from any site work , Google are unable to check its from relevant content/site or not.
