Android phone stand vs tripod for filming?

Thinking of using my Huawei mate lite 10 to film videos. Will a phone stand be enough for this purpose, or would a phone tripod be needed? And is there any difference between them when filming?

Do you want to put your phone in 1 placement and film? If yes, then a simple phone stand will do
But if you want to make a blog or a video where you are moving w a camera - you will need a stabilizer
