Hello people!
I've been developing an Android app recently, and I'm trying to monetize the users I've got so far.
The app gets around 700 new users (1300 active users) every day, and it has been downloaded by 15k last month, I didn't pay for any of the installs. 60% of the users are between 18 and 44 years old based on Google Analytics, half male, half female. The users are from all over the World, but the first three countries are Philippines with 15%, United States with 10% and Indonesia with 9%. I run Admob ads, the CTR is 2.08% for a smart banner and 6.50% for an interstitial ad that I display when the user does certain things, but the app only generates around $7 a day.
I want to gain some experience increasing the revenue, I think it could be doing much better than $200 a month. So here are the questions!
1. Based on the information I provided (and please don't ask me the name of the app), do you think I could be doing something wrong?
2. What can I do to monetize the database of more than 15k users I generated during the last month? I've their emails, I know a few of their interests and their location.
3. Do you think I should be using a CPA method? The users install my app to watch some videos basically, should I be asking them to do some action to unlock the content?
I'm open to consider whatever you have to suggest. I hope you can help me!
Thanks,
Matt
