Androids? Weren't the first ones a superflop??
Right now what's good is blackberries and iPhones (yeh no shit) with the introduction of blackberry priceplans in EU; more and more will be getting them. If there's a market for it? Potentially.
Although a BB is more a 'work' tool and not a 'play'-tool like the iPhone.

ive had a droid for over 2 years now, definitly better than the iphone in my opinion atleast in my area and what a suprise verison is getting the iphone 4 so iphone wont suck so much 
but i still love my htc incredible

I am about to port a flash game i made for android and iOS. I am defintiely interested in having BH'rs promoting my app. I specialize in ecommerce and been programming for 14 years. I will be happy to figure out a way that you guys can promote my app and have absolute proof that your cuts 111% on the up and up.
The app is a clone of a game from them touch screen game machines they have at bars. its the one with the pool balls and u click to add up to 11 and have to clear the board. It has real high score saving, and is also a facebook application. I checked the androyd market last night and it is not on there, and there was even a similar LOOKING game that sucks and the last comment was that the guy was actually looking for the game I made. So it is a decent app, that some people will know of.
I can code web, desktop and now mobile apps. I used to code aol spammers way the hell back when they were charging by the hour, just to give you an idea how long ive been doing this.
And for some examples of what ive coded, bots to go to aol, load the people connection categories, refresh the room list, go in each room and send a link to my site, then go to the next one. once it finished a category, it went to the next one. my record was 10,000 chat rooms in one session. I dealt with rate limits and all that.
Another i made the aol bot collect the names in the room, switch to aim and send them a link to my website. it would go back and get the people in the next room, go back to aim, switch names so i didnt get rate limited for sending too many messages and do it again.
I coded a bot that beat the living crap out of a yoohoo poker game called double down. I still have 15 million useless tokens from that. Then my friends convinced me to code a bot to play texas holdem on a paid site which I did as well.
I currently work for a vacation rental website and coded the booking system and a ton of features that a lof of BH'rs would probably find useful, which did 7 million in credit card transactions this year so far.
Im not bragging, im trying to prove that im no joke at coding and e-commerce, and I suck at marketing which is why im still broke as fuck.
If any of you want to get together and figure out a way to make an affiliate program for mobile apps(starting with mine, but i would be very interested in making something for the mass market), ill put up the coding skills and you put up the marketing.
pm me if you want to see the app I am making. the web version of it is done, i just have to port it to mobile OS and put it on the markets. maybe if the app stores let me have coupons, we could charge your people via a website then give the buyer a coupon to dl the app from the app stores. otherwise I am positive there is a way, and i guarantee I have the skills to make it happen. hit me up.

That sounds awesome man I would be very interested once an affiliate program is available. Perhaps posting something in JV area might get you the contacts you need to bring this to market.
As of now all I'm working on is a site related to android apps, but once an affiliate program is in place I wouldn't mind throwing up a review.
Android gaming market scares most programmers because of all the different hardware that Android OS runs on. If you could create games that get around that then you'd have a big advantage and they will be easy to sell.
