Hi All,

I need some information regarding how to rank an android app on Google play store.As of now the android app is getting ready from my developer and soon it will get live on google play, also i want to know what are necessary activities are needed once the app gets live do i need to do any sort of SEO in it?

Would be glad to get some great answers from all.

Do you want it rank in Google or inside Google Store site ?

If you mean in Google, just do SEO which will be backlinks in this case. If you meant inside Google Store site, I am not sure, but I think it's rank with number of installs and so.

1. Number of Ratings
2. Quality of Ratings
3. Amount of Downloads
4. Downloads Growth
5. Number of Uninstalls
6. Level of Usage
7. External links to your app page
8. Description: Fully filled out to max number of text
9. Keywords in Title and description text
10. Video demonstration

You can try in market place mate. There are some providers available for google play store ranking...
