2 months, place was just to quiet
ladies and gentleman i give you Sammy 8 weeks.
and we start all over again

i was up till 3.30 with her, went to bed, put her on bottom of the bed,
within 2 mins she was between the pillows of me/misses and she
stayed there till morning
 
It's nice you 'can' start again and not get too hung up on what was and is the inevitable. Of course, they'll always be with you, but moving on is a positive step. Enjoy it, sir.
 
we were 50/50 after loosing 2 in 20 yrs

It's super hard. We actually were 50/50 too but ended up getting another one. Like you said... Just too quiet. Once you've had a pet in your life, it's very strange when they're no longer there.
 
is it a purebred german shepherd puppy?
just asking because ive just sold some german shepherd x dobermans and it'd be weird if id sold one to someone on blackhatworld aha

Cute dogs, I'm glad well fed & taken care of cats can live over 20 years. Not here to start a dog cat argument, I love playing with dogs but too much work for me & live in small apartment.
 
something has to fill the silence. She lived a long life, you cant get hung up on it that much. in their time she lived through her youth and died an old lady.
 
yes shes a pure shepherd, met both parents .
and again 2nd night shes asleep on my pillow
next to misses .... mom/dad below

Sorry for your loss man!
My in-laws lost their dog last year and it was devastating for me.
I've known her for as long as I've known my wife (12 years).
They're too old to get a new one, but we will definitely be getting something to replace her in the next couple of years.
