There are articles that use % of the nationwide total amount of murders rather than the actual rate. Uttar Pradesh would actually fall under the national average of India when it comes to homicide rates.

Another article by an India news company was about the average time between rapes to try to paint a rape crisis. A country with a large population can have a higher average time between each rape than a country with an actual higher risk.

An Indian journalist for thewire.in wrote about India being so dangerous because of the 43,335 homicides a year. He at least mentioned the rate is 3.5, but his main focus was on the overall number of homicides and compared India to Brazil and South Africa.

These news are not something new and I won't believe it unless I was present there. Honestly I ignore these type of news and just move on. Yeah I am pretty much blind as this happens every day near me and most people understand and act wisely so nothing like above incident happens. I consider that cold blooded murder and hope they end up in prison for long time.

Btw would love to listen what you did you do after listening this other than posted a nice thread?

Very suprised that you compare a usual rape,murder with a caste based murder and rape,caste based murder and rape happens only to show the supremacy IMers from india knows very well ,it is deeply rooted,its time to treat everyone as humans,that's it
