Anchored text names? If it's not a name, wouldn't it get blocked?

I just got myself up and running with SB and I have a question. I have been watching some video tutorials and they say that you should generate a large list of keywords that can be used as anchor text for backlinking in comments. Now would this look sort of suspicious? I mean sure, I can spend time manually writing out comments for each post, but if the name of the person that is posting is like 'cheap leather wallets' then wouldn't that be kind of odd? I guess I am asking, should I stick with names or should I be using my large list of keywords as the names for anchored backlinks for comments. Thanks.

Maybe some blogs do care about name, but you'll get away with many blogs if you use your keywords, there is no point building links that will only rank for your name, so you will want to rank for keywords and not names.
