Obviously keep it low. But I'm still seeing some ridiculous ratios ranking. As someone mentioned already analyze top pages in that niche.

Compare top 10 results and follow trend, but an update could affect those with higher percentages so always best to keep them pretty low.

Depending on the niche you are in. There are spammy niches where you can go with 15% no problem and there are niches where the top 3 results have 0% exact. As a rule of thumb, I never go above 1%. But that rule of thumb means fuck all really. Always check your top 3 competitors and take it from there.
