    Hi guys,

Im getting a sitewide link on a major site (PR7-8) approx 50k pages indexed.

They want to only offer me an image with link + title txt. No Text link.

My question is, Is it possible to have an Image with Anchor text, so I get the same juice as a normal anchor text link?

    Cheers,

    Madi123

$150pm for a sitewide or $100pm for homepage. You can add a image link or anchor text. Up too you.

as long as the ALT attribute is used then yes it still counts in the eyes of the robots seeing the image link and counting it as an understanding of what the link is all about ..

mind you . .saying that .. I do not personally like seeing site wide links of this magnitude suddenly appearing ... google especially will see this as probably a paid link and sometimes they decide to negate the link completely ... also, is this a short term campaign or long term gain?

To suddenly have 50k links coming in only to drop out 1 month later will throw up some flags and not really benefit your site ...

    Home Page:
I think google hates paid links more than anything (well according to one report I read)...so just look at the site and see if you think google would know they are selling links. do some research on the other sites they are linking to and see if they are getting anything from it.

anyway, you can use keywords in the alt and title tags, and name the the file with an anchor text, like "your_keyword.jpg"

I read a big report once about image SEO, just can't find it now. Actually works a treat just like the guys above said - alt and title tags.
