As the title says, my anchor texts wont work all the time sometimes it just posts the code which makes the reply look shitty and like spam.

Is there a way to tell if its possible to place anchor text or not?

Suppose you want to comment on blog post which already have comments with hyper links. Check page source code and find hyper link text then you can what type of hyper link will work for this site.
I know these 4 type of code which works on different sites like
this <a href="https://google.com">/kw</a>
and <a title="kw" href="https://google.com">kw</a> works almost on every site.
Some sites like
https://www.panoramio.com
use [Google](http://www.google.com/)
and some sites use
https://google.com rarely.

I hope this helps you. If you want to know other ways then wait for experts replies.

Reply? Are you talking about forums? The way I'd do it is give a proper answer/solution and have my link(s) in the signature. As your authority increases on the forum, more and more people will be clicking on your links in your signature.

Do you mean blog commenting?

It depend upon hyperlink code structure (like HTML, BB Code, Wiki link structure) of that site.

Can you please share the URL as an example where you are trying put anchor text?

I noticed that some forums canceled the option for anchor text.
what do you suggest on those sites?

If forums cancelled the option for anchor text it may be because of your reputation. Every forum have it's own criteria when it comes to posting links. You have to participate and increase your post count then you can post links. It's worth only when you have enough resources / time / patient not rewarding as other link building technique.
