Anchor Text Backlinks vs Button Backlinks

never heard of such thing, but I'm also not dismissing it yet :)

I would still use anchor texts, though, just to be safe...
 
You can do the combination of both where button links are used for call to action (User Experience ) and Anchor links is to improve SEO by providing context and Relevance
 
Anchor text is the best option when compared to the backlink button.

It also helps in ranking your keyword.
 
Don't use button links unless you need them. If people don't click on those buttons, then you can convert them into text links. You should primarily use them for UX and not for SEO. If you place too many buttons for SEO but people keep ignoring them, then it can negatively affect your site.

Why would you want to use button as an anchor?

Doesn't make much sense, unless it serves a real purpose on the website or webapp. For every normal link, always use anchor text.
 
My opinion would be anchor text will be an good choice than backlink button.
Anchor text are more visible to search engine crawlers which will help in ranking.
 
Anchor text links good for back-links and google can easily crawl.
 
You can use both anchor text links and button links and prioritize the user experience and natural linking. Don't use it repeatedly as it might look unnatural or spammy.
 
Anchor text links are better for SEO within your site and for backlinks because they tell search engines what the linked page is about. Buttons are less descriptive and don't pass on SEO value by themselves. Use descriptive anchor text and alt text for image buttons.
 
Anchor text links are more valuable when it comes for SEO whereas Button are user friendly but their SEO benefit is limited

Exactly, I agree with this opinion.

But as the OP has mentioned for SEO, I would suggest anchor text rather than buttons. ( Though a few links through buttons are fine to go)
 
Anchor text refers to the visible text within a hyperlink for context links, relevance, and internal links.
The button link is a clickable button for navigating the site and prompting specific actions.
A balanced approach that combines anchor text links and well-designed button links contributes to effective SEO.
