Hi folks, I have a question about anchor ratios.
Do you have any experience with whether the anchor ratios are relevant across the entire website or are calculated according to the subpage?
An example: keyword XYZ
0% on the website (99 backlinks total)
0% on a new subpage
Now I want to rank the subpage for keyword XYZ and set a backlink with the anchor "Keyword XYZ". Now I have:
1% on the website (100 backlinks total)
100% on the new subpage (1 backlink total)
So do I now have to put 9 other backlinks on the new subpage with different anchors so that I have a 10% ratio on the subpage to be "somewhat safe"? Or does G just look at the 1% across the entire site?
Thanks
