Analyzing EPC?

I'm pretty new to CJ. I'm wondering from the experts how much stock i should put in the 7 DAY or 3 month EPC when deciding which ads to post on my site. Is this a good indicator of public taste at the moment - something I should keep taking notes on, or is it more an indicator of a few crafty individuals who figured out how to take a particular link to a huge success?

Any thoughts on this?

If you already have a site naturally you'd just aim for the offers that fall into your niche. Personally I always shoot for advertisers with the highest 30day EPC and build a campaign around them. Getting accepted to all of them is not that easy though.

If you have two offers from the same niche you should test them before choosing one, sometimes offers with a lower EPC convert better.
