I'm putting on my ultra-noob hat. Can someone give their opinion on this competition report from Market Samurai?

I understand what all the columns mean, but I'm too new to really have much of an idea what it means in terms of trying to rank...

Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks for the noob link, that does have some helpful stuff for me!
I did check out the kw tool and quickly decided adsense wouldn't be very helpful, so I started wondering what other ways I could monetize.

Some helpful google searching led me to that other thread, so then I started wondering if I'd be able to rank #1 or close to it without a ton of work and money.

Keyword is exactly the type from that other thread: <location> hotels. And it's a US location. And there is no google places to deal with :). Magic, I know. Plan would be to monetize exactly as in the other thread or to do something like expedia affiliate program.

I started there and got "Relatively Easy"...but then some searches around here said 1) TT is not always that accurate and 2) that in TT "Relatively Easy" could be a lot different from "Easy".

That's when I moved on to MS and wanted to get others opinions. Any personal experience on how believable TT difficulty assessment is?

Also, after reading through the noob link, everything looks good for my plan except:
SEOC is 94,600 which is quite a bit higher than the 30-50k suggested value
DA average is pretty high, average in the top 10 is 10+ years
 
Oh yeah, EMD is available :)
I think I'll go for it. 2012 is the year of action.
