I haven't posted in a looooong time outside sales threads.

Lately I've been feeling great and I just wanted to share my feelings with a crowd that might understand me.

I’m an owner of an SEO agency and this is an Ode to digital marketing and SEO.

I love this shit!

Since I first dabbled with digital marketing, I always used un-orthodox methods to get results. They’re not always clean - some gray-hat, some black-hat, but they get results.

During this period I have had clients in many niches – from boring standard businesses, to some less “ethical” which not all would take on as clients, both for the sake of ethicality and because they’re hard to work with or rank in SEO terms.

I’ve worked with companies in niches like:

  • Gambling operators & affiliates
  • Sports betting operators & affiliates
  • Loans
  • Banks
  • Sex Dolls
  • Steroids
  • Only Fans models
  • Political parties
  • Sex stimulants
  • Global ecommerce stores
  • And many more

Why do I have clients in these niches?

It all started with a few “odd niche” clients and then it just spiraled out of control.

I get word of mouth recommendations from the clients I’ve helped. Whenever a client is referred from these “high competition” niches, they come to me and say that they’ve heard from good sources that I’m the one that might help them achieve their goals, when others couldn’t.

When I hear that, my adrenaline kicks in and blood starts pumping.

I live for this shit. I love coming up with strategies for different clients in different niches. The harder the niche, the more fun I have.

There are niches which I haven’t tackled yet but I’ d love to get a crack at, like:

  • Luxury items ecommerce (jewelry, clothing, watches)
  • A large local news website
  • Cryptocurrency/blockchain
  • CBD/Cannabis
  • Forex/Binary trading
  • Adult Entertainment

Each day I go to work with a smile on my face and I’m lucky to be able to work on these amazing thought-provoking projects.

I hope there are people here who feel the same!

To get a discussion going:
If you've had to get a little dirty to survive in your niche, what's the one 'unorthodox' tactic you refuse to stop using?

Great to hear today someone love their job and is a good feeling when customers reffers others to you to get more business

If you are smiling at work, it is not work, just pure pleasure. Glad you found what makes you happy.
Yeah, it does.

I had a business once where I was miserable. Sold it after 1.5 years.

Running an SEO agency is something different. Ofcourse, if it had money problems, then I guess every business can make you feel miserable. But atleast, this is niche that I love with all my hearth.
