An Important Question for Google Ranking - ip address

Hello bhw members. I am currently using a vps and have about 20 websites. Some of the websites I host on Vps are of very poor quality (consisting of duplicate articles and a few worthless pages). The problem is that my money site is also hosted on the same ip address in them. What I'm wondering is, will my money site appear as spam because it is hosted at this ip address?

No it won't, provided that your site has nothing to do with the other sites. The only issue with shared ips is when you're linking out to other sites. That's when it can be a footprint. If your money site is not linked to by any of those sites then you have nothing to worry about. There are so many shared hosting providers, if this was a problem, then you could never use shared hosting because you have no idea who else is sharing the server with you.

If there are no links between your site and other sites you should be fine. But if you are using those other sites as the source for your links - you may have some troubles.
