An idea for mods and other senior contributing users

This forum helps shares a lot of useful knowledge in several topics including resource files such as courses, ebooks, etc where we see several giveaways or posts of mega files, gdrive, mediafire files etc but sad part is most of these folders contain tons of value and knowledge but they get deleted by those file storage paltforms if the uploader doesn't login over y period of time so as a solution if mods or anyone can maintain a library here or like an archive where all files moved from those temporary storage platforms and are uploaded on torrents so it can last nearly forever.

Really nice suggestion, mods needs to consider this.

Exactly maybe if introduce a new catergory in forum called Library/Resources and all people who directly contribute is recommended to upload files via torrents and currently uploaded content copied and moved to torrents by mod and those content links expired mods message user who uploaded and ask for updated link as a torrent

Mods have enough tasks even without maintaining this. I'm sure this also makes BHW liable (at least to some degree) of sharing or hosting this content.
I don't know about torrents, but I bet it would introduce a lot of viruses and spam into our downloads section.

OP are you willing to pay for it?
Who is going to pay for hosting etc?
Even as torrents, there would be costs for seedboxes etc.

BTW there are torrent sites that specialise in the materials but hey can't be discussed on BHW

It's a nice suggestion, but as @roydan and @Wilson Grant Fisk have explained, the liability issues and increased cost would outweigh any perceived benefit to this library. Therefore, it's not something we can add to our platform, at least at this time.
