An Expert? Already?

ok so i started looking into article marketing and wrote my first article and submitted it to ezinearticles, it took about 1 week to review the article, and after that i got a mail from them telling me that congratulations my article has been published.

They will also put it on their high traffic homepage.

Also I have been given the rank of expert author.

now that is all well and good, but how was i given the rank of an expert just by 1 article, What I'm asking is that does anyone who submit get an expert status or should I be honored for getting this rank?

Well it usually takes a lot more than just one article. It is usually about ten or so before you get that rank.

I had expert status at around my 8th submission.

But I guess it can vary, never heard of it after just one though.

ANYONE who signs up on EZA and submits just a single article will be titled as an 'expert.' What im trying to say is if somebody signs up today and submits an article.... once it is approved, the article will be labelled at the bottom as written by an 'expert author' plus your name.

You should expect a clickthrough rate of around 5 - 20% on your article. Also, once 10 of your articles are APPROVED.... you should expect to get a Basic Member PLUS status where your articles will get approved in less than 24 hours!

TIPS to increase views and CTR's:

1) Use A QUESTION in your title eg. instead of 'Increase Your Laptops's Performance' you could use - 'Want to Increase Your Laptop's Performance By Up To x%?

Basically it triggers a psychological effect on the reader...

2) In your author bio instead of " The author has been dealing with computer memory and RAM modules for the past 10 years, check out his website RamValley for great deals on memory components and desktops" ...try add a bit more personality in it and state something like - "Want to get great deals on memory components and desktops? Then check out my website at http://www.ramvalley.com and never pay market retail product prices when you can get it up to a xx% discount from my site.'' Also place an anchor text with the keywords you are targetting pointing to your url for the sake of seo!

Yea I also remember the first time I submitted an article to ezinearticle. I was also immediately given an expert status but after a few days my status drop back to normal
