Amsterdam shooting. So what's going on ?

Shootings can happen everywhere, don't make that stop you from going places. Yesterday, 2 lunatics used their cars to run over people in 2 different christmas markets in 2 different cities. Just be careful and react fast when sh!t happens.

Just have to believe in your luck... If you aren't lucky, you might break your bone just for slipping near your luxury car at home..

The increased level of murders is caused by drug gangs operating in Amsterdam. The thing is that a couple months ago, there disappeared a packet with cocaine (while being delivered to Amsterdam through Belgium) worth of shitload of money. The drug cartels over there thought that the cocaine was taken by police, but after a few months in an official police statement was said that police seized just a little piece of the missing cocaine.

And since then, the drug cartels have began to blame each other from the robbery of the cocaine.

EDIT: Found an article about it - http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/dutch-drug-gangs-war-over-stolen-cocaine-worth-14m-claims-14-lives-1479465

do you see Christians getting offended when people talk about the westboro baptist church? i don't think so... and they obviously shouldn't be...

And no one is required to call them "radical christians" either. Because it goes without saying that the Westboro church are their beliefs and actions do not accurately reflect on Christianity as a whole.

However it DOESN'T go without saying that Muslim terrorists are not an accurate reflection on Islam. There's some question as to that. Some believe that it does not, while others are not so certain. That's why we're required to modify any mention of a terrorist's muslim religion with "radical", so as to differentiate them from those that are not terrorists.

They require special differentiation. That makes a statement in and of itself. To by truly generous to non-terrorist Muslims, I believe we should drop the "radical" modifier, and simply say "Muslim terrorist" when it's appropriate, and let people decide for themselves whether it is clear that the terrorist was an atypical example, or if they are part of a larger pattern that actually DOES represent a determined and persistent part of Islam world-wide. For me, it's a question of whether or not you are going to presume to do someone else's thinking for them, or if you are going to give them the respect of allowing them to think for themselves.

i woke up today and saw 2 shootings in a town near mine, does that mean i shouldnt go there? shit happens.
