AMR Tips

Just bought AMR and have found this thread so useful - thank you!

One question - is it a bad idea to submit articles with links directly to my money site? I read on another thread it is a bad idea to do this for new sites and I should instead link to buffer sites?

Just so you know, AMR is going reoccurring subscription. Even for people who bought it a long time ago without any monthly fees and that was the main reason many of us bought it.

Well he will be. It's a shame, but I understand where he is coming from.
The reason he hasn't updated it much (until recently, he did a lot of updates) is because there is no money in it. It's a fairly niche product and requires a lot of updating to maintain effective.

It is rotten to come back to people who paid for lifetime licenses and charge a fee, I'm sure it won't be that high $20-50/y I'm guessing) but he will abandon it if it isn't worth his time to maintain.

Paying for AMR the way it is right now?
NO way, he better give AMR a makeover if Im going to be paying monthly for it.

Grow your auto approve list, this is all I can say. Blasting to all article directories is time consuming. I just blast to my list of AA and thats it

hmm, I just updated to latest version and only have 2000 directories..anybody else have the same problem?

That was done on purpose. Most of the 9000 that were on the list were dead, so they kept the functioning ones, but they come and go all the time.

The best idea is to grow your own list, but any list you have will need to be maintained regularly.

Greed my friend, greed.

I never liked it, it's easier to find VA's with all the programs that you need and give them to struggle with all the problems that programs like AMR give you after some time.

The only "problem" is that AMR is currently (in my opinion) the only program of that type that can do the job like it should do.

With all due respect, because you are more senior here than I am, what is he supposed to say? "Those noble people from India" or "indians?" I'm assuming that when indian people refer to working for an american, they say "work for some american." And I don't see the issue with it. Over sensitivity is just as dangerous as lack of it.

Okay anyway. What does "failed the template check" mean? I am readding and recombing and refreshing all of my sites - most of which are already in my huge list of directories (I try to add more once a month), some of which are not already in the list, but are being added. And a little less than a quarter are saying "failed template" check. Hm. I looked on G, couldn't find an explanation. I am assuming maybe this is the "wrong" type of site to use with AMR or possibly a captcha problem.

AFAIK "template" here basically means a footprint - AMR is using some features of the different article site scripts to identify which script is being used: from a footer signature, login and other standard links and pages or maybe a combination of all of them, or maybe literally by looking at the HTML header etc. When the template check fails it means AMR has basically failed to identify which script is being used and so it won't be able to do submissions.
