One tip... from an amr newbie, didn't read it anywhere else so here we go:
Do not only check for live links - paste all live link urls into scrapebox and check for actual working backlinks(Link Checker). I've found that out of the standard list, only 1/4 of the ones that got auto approved actually still had my links in place, the others replaced them and just used my content.
So BLACKLIST THOSE DIRECTORIES!

Not sure where you are posting, but 99% of mine stick.
Out of 531 live links, 492 have my links when I use check links.
Most of the ones that don't, are 404 errors. Either directory not around anymore, its temporarily down, they removed the article, or they removed the link.
It may be that I have the lowest quality aa directories, because I was only using the ones off the standard list that do not require a captcha. I was quite surprised as well - and no, only a few were 404, the others simply had my article but manipulated the link to somewhere else (sometimes to the same article).
I checked this way: check for live links in AMR - exported the urls to csv, copy pasted the urls into scrapebox, used the link checker, and 5 minutes after the check only 1/4 of those articles still had the correct link. I then checked 2-3 manually to see what the problem is, and one I could not open because of a virus warning, the other two had either links removed or links manipulated to another domain. I didn't bother to check the rest because I assume the link checker from sb is reliable. And link checker does tell you found / not found / 404 (or other errors) and most were not found.
I guess you have a good list then?! Or are using the standard ones including the ones that require captcha.

This is true, but I find only a small percentage do this.
By the way, they are all low quality directories, or they wouldn't take this garbage

May I just ask. What am I doing incorrect if when using a new email address to create new accounts and it fails on every single directory sign up?
I m using a firstname.surname@proper domain
Sometimes when I have used 20 article submits for each domain ( which is all that is effective per sign up domain ) I use another name on the same domain.
1 - another name on the same domain does not work for sign ups.
2 - some email addresses simply do not work on sign ups from some servers.
Am I missing something dead simple?
I think I fixed it now.. - Maybe their servers were down...I am getting a 25% sign up rate now which is normal.

anyone else getting pop3 errors on 1.0.9.3 beta 15? it keeps failing when i use these settings for cpanel:
incoming pop: mail.mydomain.com
incoming port: 110
account name: name+domain.com
it either says it failed or sometimes it says unable to ping my mail server.
Although when i sign up with a gmail account it works perfectly.
Wondering if this is an error on my end or a problem with 1.0.9.3

Explanation:
{house|home} - this is word spintax
{{Going|Leaving} to {my|our} {home|house} this Friday.|{Heading|Driving} {towards|in direction} of {our|beloved} {street|city}.} - this is sentence spintax (we spin words + sentences to get better uniqueness %).
Now all that is above + this:
{Paragraph1|Paragraph4|Paragraph7}
{Paragraph2|Paragraph5|Paragraph8}
{Paragraph3|Paragraph6|Paragraph9}
Where:
Paragraph 1 - 2 - 3 belong to article 1.
Paragraph 4 - 5 - 6 belong to article 2.
Paragraph 5 - 6 - 7 belong to article 3.
Paragraph = 4-10 sentences separated by breake.
I usually try to get 5 Paragraphs from each article.
Try to make each paragraph somewhat same length.
This way from 3 copied articles from Ezine or whatever you can get multiple 90-99% unique articles.

Extra Winner, is AMR still useful ? I mean I have submitted 2 articles to around 800 directories and my content was 100% unique and title was also highly spun making around 20 unique titles.
But after 2-3 weeks, my website still have 40 backlinks and no change in serps.

Just curious, how do you guys handle the virus problem with AMR? Do you just pray and hope your anti-virus catches everything, or have you found another way to deal with all the virus infected directories?
I blacklist the ones that my antivirus discovers, but each run turns up more virus directories.
I really like AMR, but don't use it much these days because of all viruses. Has anyone found a solution other than antivirus and prayer?

Take your whole db list and run it thru sbox malware checker addon....might as well check them for dead sites while your at it as well.
Then u just tick the fails for the second run and do the regular style author bio with anchor?
Then you tick the fails again for the 3rd run...but are you inputting just the raw link and it turns to a live one automatically in the bio..or do you set up the raw link in html...but just to display the raw url?
How do you config it to do this in one run? I suppose there is a thread over at snipers forum?
Maybe try link checking for just the domain, check that box, and it might come up live
