Hi,

Since alot of you have AMR, I have a small issue. I have registered on all the directories with a Gmail address and Im having a problem confirming them. When AMR confirms them, it always grabs 250 emails, confirms them, and says it is done. I have like over 3K emails that need to be confirmed and I need to keep hitting "Confirm" every time because it grabs 250 emails at max, confirms, and then stops. Also, AMR is not deleting the emails even though I have the checkbox ticked to do so.

I am not sure what is going on but I thought AMR grabs all the emails from your email folder, then checks them. My AMR is grabbing only 200 to 250 of them, confirms them and finishes them.

This is with a Gmail address.

Any help on this?

Using AMR (Purchased) w Windows 7.

For best results use an email address from one of your domains, just setup one up from cpanel. This will help stop a lot of the emails going to spam/junk folders.

Yeah but thats not even it. Most of the emails are in the inbox but I am not sure why I am having that issue. Also, in Windows 7, I can not manually tick the directories next to them either.

Just a guess but maybe its an issue with gmail only allowing 250 to be downloaded at a time?

Im not sure. I thought when you use POP3, you are grabbing all the emails, not just a certain limit. Anyone else can confirm?

Not sure about the gmail. But I run amr on windows 7 and have no problems manually checking directories.

I am using it with gmx with zero problems: login to Gmail and poke aournd the settings; this must be it - there should be a setting that you need to change

Sinatra:

Thats how mine looks like. I cant select the directories manually anywhere.

HPV: Already did. Pop settings enabled. Nothing else to mess with.

Perhaps gmail denies access if your IP makes too many attempts? AMR doesn't support proxies, so when you're confirming all those emails, it means your IP is opening all those emails in just minutes. I'm not sure about this, it's just a speculation.

I just set up throwaway emails on my domain. Never had a problem.

I guess I will use my email then. How about my issue with manually selecting the directories? Any idea why I can not do that?

You have to check the box on the left to select an individual directory.

Your issue is a problem with gmail. It only allows so many emails to be downloaded at a time.

As far as the selection issue, I find it easier to highlight the directories you want to select then click on the drop down box and click on select all highlighted. It's a lot faster than clicking on individual boxes. If you highlight the top directory, hold down the shift key then the down arrow key. It'll start highlighting the directories.

Ok but there is supposed to be small checkboxes under the Sel column. Why do I not see them?

Also, I got 3200 directories registered now out of the ~6K. Is this good? What do I do with the ones that failed?

That I cannot answer, I don't know. Could be an installation problem or something else. You should search on the forum for answers. If you can't find it then you can start your own thread there or PM the owner of the software.

Edit: Answer to your last post - you will get more answers on the AMR forum.

You can always PM the owner and ask him for advice.

I have some issues with AMR before and email the owner. He got back after a day or so.
