Dont i have to sign upto directories before i create a spun document?

Its been a long time since i used it. I have created a new author but i thought that the next step is directories sign up? But its just wanting me to make a document i think instead. Is this correct?

Here is the workflow:
Create author account-> sign up to directories->verify email->Create spun articles->submit

Thanks for the reply sbnoob. I have created a author account but i cant see where i now sign upto directories before creating an article???
