Amonetize is dying?!?!?!

I actually am experiencing lower conversion rate. I think they have solved the chrome issue BUT now the file is being flagged by a free anti virus. I took 30% hit in my conversion rate.

It started 3 days ago. How about you guys any exp?

Note: Aside from that, sometimes it just won't download. I think I like it better before before they solve the chrome thing. I'm losing much less back then compared to now

I can confirm that conversions become worse since tuesday-wednesday,I noticed that it rates a while to get the file donwloading(only on chrome) and after that sometimes file is blocked,sometimes it's not
So, the blocking issue still not fixed and it could only get worse(like windows smart screen blocking and so on...)

I currently running both amonetize and revenyou. Tried different PPI networks but all I tried have much less conversion rate. The worst exp for me is perinstallbucks.com where I only made 0.02 around 2 hours.

Have you tried other PPI networks?
 
Tried few of networks when I first started IM (about 7 months ago)and can say that amonetize and revenyou were only networks which didn't give me 2% conversion;),can't say now

actually i never experienced any chrome issues BEFORE they said they fixed it.. lol.
but it is not fixed. chrome still blocks the launcher/downloader. it's not a devastating blow to my earnings, but gives a really noticable drop in earnings.

Yes, but I actually having a hard time understanding their system. The only thing they gave me is a landing page and a stat page.

Nothing, about how to edit things up. And tried to install their software in a VM (windows 7) and it just run and does not pop up any installation process, and when I check the stats there is no change at all.

Have you tried installerex? If you do, can you give me instruction since their support is quite bad. Also have you been paid?

Again, Amonetize products are not blocked by Chrome, nor AV's...
If your links are blocked please contact your AM asap as you are using an old link!

For newbies- mention in the registration page that you came through " Blackhat forum" and get quick response.

why amonetize is not allowing to pack installer in a .zip file like revenyou and rename it
That's the only one reason when anyone talks about Ppi network Revenyou come first
 
I use ZIP files and on host them on my own domain. Works good for me!

I tried packing installer in an .zip format and then uploaded it to Zippyshare.
The next day when I saw statistics it was like 20 start installs and 3 successfull
I was like WTF
Then I replaced link with Revenyou installer and done same .zippying and stuff
I got like 300 start installs and 127 successful...quite tolerable then amonetize.
I liked everything about amonetize their user interface, the way they care about their publisher
but don't know I had a bad luck with them

That's why they giving direct link, set that and forget.even if conversions are bit lower you don't have to waste time updating links,which gets detected by antivirus very fast
 
Does zipping with RAR in anyway reduce conversion compared with downloading without RAR?
 
Yes, when you point people to the landing page they will always get the latest .exe, which means low AV detection. If you rar files it is wise to update the file from time to time. Also some people don't know what to do with .zip or .rar files.
 
I know I am a bit late here but I have a small solution for the people that have issues with the download. I have had the same issue and the simple solution is to use google drive for storing your setup.exe's then create a direct download link for your customers (search google how to create google drive direct download link). I do understand that amonetize doesnt work like that but if you use somoto/betterinstaller and you make your own setup.exe bundles this will save you so much time and frustration.

Somoto is the better solution today since the other big PPI companies are in a disadvantage
in antivirus and browsers.
