Hello. I recently started my first site in English and aimed at an American audience. Previously I always focused on sites aimed at my local country.
I am noticing that on weekends there are a lot of traffic spikes in my site and this is normal since the same was happening in my local sites. People have more free time and therefore browse the Internet more I guess. The strange thing and what I don't understand though, is that even Monday has very similar performance to what I get on weekends while the days with the least number of accesses usually happens on Tuesday and Wednesday. Why is this? Usually in my local sites, Monday performs very poorly and is usually the worst day of the week. Can you help me understand why in the U.S. Mondays perform so well and the slump only starts on Tuesdays?
