Amazons Product Pictures?

Hey,

Am an affiliate of amazon associates and i've just been told that i am not allowed to use any product pictures from amazon as they are copyrighted so i was wondering how do people on here who have amazon niche sites get there pictures from? I wanted to start promoting there products through social media but without being able to use there product images i am pretty much screwed unless there is another way around this?

Search around their TOS for it, but I think that you can not use images submitted by users for reviews and such, but only original product images that Amazon provides trough their amazon affiliate central and/or trough images/information provided trough their API. You might want to contact them just in case to confirm this.

Honestly I use their images for around 2 years now, and had no problems yet.
However, rest of Amazon TOS is very strict, so make sure you follow it.

In theory you are not allowed to use the images by uploading them to your website.
But almost every one does it, so you might as well too.

Copy the image url and post it that way. Technically you're not hosting the image. Just a thought.

If you try to follow every TOS in depth then you won't be able to create affiliate account with any company. Every company will ban you for no reason as they reserve those rights but. If you play smart and make sure you follow major TOS then there are no issues.

You can buy a WordPress plugin which puls data from Amazon to your WordPress blog through API so your blog will have latest images with updated price through API and the affiliate link too. So everything will be fine. Don't be afraid .. If you keep thinking much, someone else will start on your idea. So jump in, experiment yourself and go on to achieve the success.

You was told by Amazon authorities or by someone else? Logically, you are an affiliate with them and actually help to promote the product, so that's really strange. If you are not sure, better contact them directly. I think many people might have misleading information.

you can use aliexspress images at any time and use them on your website.

aliexspress provide there product images to promote there items.

yes it the same picture as Amazon.
