Right now it is in the Beta stages and they are only letting a few webmasters in. If I get accepted I will let everyone know what it's all about..or if someone is allready a member please shed some light! I am banned from amazon as a seller but I am hoping they look past this.
What is Clickriver Ads?
What is Clickriver Ads?
- Clickriver Ads is an advertising program — currently in beta — that allows businesses to place sponsored links on Amazon.com®, next to search results and on product detail pages. Clickriver Ads presents a unique opportunity to advertise services and products that complement the selection on Amazon.com, an online marketplace with tens of millions of active customer accounts.
We welcome service providers of all types to apply to join the beta — in travel, finance and investment, training and education, entertainment, insurance, healthcare and physical fitness, IT assistance and consulting, photo printing and more. In addition, we welcome retailers who want to advertise products that complement those sold on Amazon.com.
Clickriver Ads was created by A9.com®, a search technologies company based in Palo Alto, California. A9.com is a wholly owned subsidiary of Amazon.com.
- Sponsored links are simple text ads that display in response to a person's search query or based on the content of a web page that a person is viewing. Sponsored links are effective because they are relevant and targeted to the audience — the people who see the ads have already expressed interest in those topics.
Our sponsored links are "pay-per-click". An advertiser is charged only if a person clicks on the ad. The price of a click is determined at auction. When the ad is created, an advertiser decides what maximum cost-per-click he or she is willing to pay, and that information, along with competitive bids and other performance factors, determines how the ads are ranked and what the cost will be if the ad is clicked.
Sponsored links on Amazon.com are always clearly labeled as sponsored links.
- Clickriver Ads provides the opportunity to advertise services and products that complement the selection on Amazon.com, via sponsored links that display on search result pages and product detail pages. With this advertising program, you can engage online shoppers during the entire shopping experience — as they shop, browse and search on Amazon.com.
We welcome service providers of all types to apply to join the Clickriver beta — in travel, finance and investment, training and education, entertainment, insurance, healthcare and physical fitness, IT assistance and consulting, photo printing and more. We also welcome retailers, who want to advertise products that complement those sold on Amazon.com, to apply.
If you want to place sponsored links on an online marketplace with tens of millions of active customer accounts, the Clickriver Ads program is for you.
Over the course of the Clickriver Ads beta, we will continue to add features and improve the service. We welcome feedback from all of our customers — the feedback will help us to evolve the program to do an even better job meeting your needs.
- Clickriver Ads will appear on Amazon.com, on search results pages and on many product detail pages.
With Clickriver, a wide range of complementary products and services can be advertised at the precise moment that someone is interested — as they shop, browse, and search on Amazon.com. For example, ads from banks can display on pages for finance and investment books, such as on the "Road to Wealth" product page. Ads from photo printing services can display next to search results for cameras and tripods. Ads for hotels, car rentals and travel agencies can display on pages for travel books, sunglasses, suitcases, portable DVD players and other travel accessories sold on Amazon.com.
- With Clickriver, you're in control of your spending. You don't pay for clicks until after they happen, and there is no registration fee. You set a daily budget for each advertising campaign in your account. You decide what you're willing to pay — at most — for a click. And you can specify different bids for each keyword that triggers your ad. In short, what you pay is up to you.
- For the Clickriver beta, we welcome applications from businesses who advertise services and products that complement Earth's Biggest Selection® of products sold on Amazon.com. Clickriver presents an opportunity to connect to customers, via sponsored links, at the precise moment that someone is searching or looking to purchase on Amazon.com.
We welcome services of all types — in travel, finance and investment, training and education, entertainment, insurance, news, healthcare and physical fitness centers, IT assistance and consulting, photo printing and more. We also welcome product retailers whose offerings complement the many products on Amazon.com.
Everyone can apply, although unfortunately we will not be able to accept all the applications. If you're interested, we encourage you to apply to join the Clickriver beta.
- Retailers can sell their products directly on Amazon.com. Interested retailers can leverage Amazon's technology, selection and expertise to give their products more exposure and gain a new incremental sales channel. - The Clickriver Ads beta provides the only direct way to create, track and optimize sponsored link ad campaigns on Amazon.com. However, Clickriver Ads are not the only sponsored links on Amazon.com. We also display sponsored links from 3rd party ad networks.
