Right on thank you! is there a way for google not to pick up on this text and accidentally put it in the description in search results?

If you're on WordPress, just create a banner and insert it in the top sidebar ( widgets ). For pages, make sure you insert it near the ad. I also insert the disclosure in the footer.

Does it need to be close to the link? Can it not just be at the top of the post?
