Amazon Wanting More Transparency With Affiliate Links?

I have some thoughts

As the Amazon support agent said "as long as it's clear and in plain sight for viewers to see" when he was asked about the position of the disclaimer text on the site. Then I think placing the text on footer is not safe while placing it on the sidebar makes the site ugly as well.

I have two ideas:

1) I would hire a developer who can help me add a small tooltip showing the disclaimer text "As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases" to any outbound links to Amazon.com. Or simply use a Wordpress plugin which has similar functionality if you are not familiar with coding or do not want to hire a developer.
2) Add the disclaimer text to the beginning of every article that contains Amazon affiliate links (like the way TheWirecutter is doing). However, I have not found the plugin to help me get that thing done yet. If anyone has an idea it would be highly appreciated.

You got two options. You can show your CTA button as an AD-like - Check Price at Amazon #Ad or Check Price at Amazon #Paid. But I don't like it personally. I do follow the Wirecutter system. I put it in the article header for the buying pages.

Well, but the hashtags in my opinion are not suitable for buttons on website, it's okay for social media posts.
You put the text in the article header manually or using any plugin?

Manually, as I am using Elementor so create a landing page template. All I need to call the template and it will place there automatically.

I've always had the Amazon Disclaimer as per amazon's Instructions on the front page of my websites.
I don't advertise on Facebook.
All I tend to have is the "buy button" and rarely ever a text link.
