Amazon VPS not worrking- cannot connect, any other good VPS?

I have my MP acc on amazon AWS with stats :

• 1Gb of RAM
• 30Gb Hdd ( you’ll have around 11Gb free after the OS is installed)
• 1 virtual processor at 2.49Ghz
• OS: Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard.
• 1GB monthly free traffic

And now I cannot connect to my VPS through RDC. The VPS on online and running, but I cannot connect. I checked all network things and even firewall. Because Im using an basic plan, Amazon doesnt offer me a help with Technical things. The forums there are very quiet and no help.


Or can anyone suggest some other good VPS with 4GB of RAM?

Depending on what you want to do with the vps, you could check out ovh. Not the best support, but if you know what you are doing you get a cheap vps with flat traffic and good ram

Have you contacted them to make sure your IP was not blocked.

Lots of great VPS providers out there. Do a little search here in BHW in the Market Place and you will see lots of web host here.

I do not recommend OVH whatsoever.

Purchased a server 2 months ago, and received a server with an additional account of the username "root" instead of "administrator" (Windows), loaded with 3 OVH services. Not even a full 2 months in, and right after one of their representatives rebooted my server due to a "black screen" I had a CRYSiS ransomware that has no available decrypter.. otherwise at the cost of 7BTC.

Was not even a production server. Nothing was really public.

I'd recommend vultr for their prices if you are not looking for too much or nfoservers for a really nice ddos protected virtual (and a 2 day trial).
EDIT: In addition (OVH): Expect little to NO support. Especially on the weekends.

I can name hostwinds. All of their work is based on quality of hardware and good skills of tech department.
