If You're making a website in english then you have to be dumb not to focus on both of them(Unless you have some kind of specific source that gets you only UK traffic). Use Geni.us for example. It'll redirect people to amazon websites closest to them. Ofcourse you'll lose clicks as you can't have an affiliate account for non-english amazons if you're site isn't in that language. But in the end you'll make more money cause they wouldn't pay 200$ for shipping anyway.
