Amazon trying to take funds back.. Any advice?

Back in november I listed a product with barcode and all specifications on Amazon, the guy ordered then said it's incorrect HDD size on tablet. He then proceeded to lie and say it didn't get shipped in time, which is a lie because I have delivery confirmation and shipped it within 2 hours of him ordering it.


Now Amazon says I owe over $300 to this guy I told him to ship it back and if it's in the same condition I can refund him, but he said he isn't responsible for shipping back, and Amazon is siding with him.

I removed my Credit Card, but every month Amazon e-mails me back saying add a CC and refund him the money.

Is this hurting my credit score? The guy speaks broken English despite living in New York, he doesn't reply to my e-mails.

Amazon since has suspended my account, should I just leave the account and start a new one?

If it's suspended, I'd leave it be. Do they have your SSN? If not, I don't see how they can report to your credit. Yes, Amazon will refund you without shipping back. I bought a zebra printer once. Tried contacting the company twice, was ignored. Finally called Amazon and they refunded me. A few days later the company writes me back offering a refund. I could have been a jerk and kept the printer but I sent it back. The only thing wrong with it was it was specifically for Fedex labels, and I needed one for USPS.

I dont know why people need to be assholes about stuff. Usually Amazon is very good with this sort of thing.

close your account man and remove the money from your card.

If amazon have your ssn, it can reflect your score or just close account, and change address and all details. And you can sale again.

Agree with you,they have selled my information to a Company that i never has registert.On every 5. of the month i become a post letter from the company.anyway... i decided to close my acc on amazon long time ago. Ebay is enough for me. It is questionable why Amazon in any case for the sale of articles require a Barcode.
