Amazon To Ebay DS Question

Hey guys I've been doing the Amazon to Ebay DS method for about 2 months now with pretty good success. I have TRS on my account but I'm getting close to losing it due to "Tracking Uploaded within handling time and validated by carrier" being under the required 90%.

I know of a few big sellers doing this method who have their TRS so I know its possible but it just seems that Amazon just doesn't ship stuff fast enough to cover the 1-day handling eBay requires for TRS.

I'm wondering if there is any way around this or if anyone has any advice on something I could do to help this issue. It isn't the end of the world if I lose my TRS but it sure helps having the lower fees!

The tracking uploaded ebay requirements are only as follows:

1) you simply have to PRINT out the label within the 1 business day threshhold
2) the actual validated by carrier requirement has no time stipulation. Meaning, you could print out the label within the 1 business day period, and drop the item off at the post office 3 day later and you'd still meet ebay's requirement. So long as the tracking number gets scanned (doesn't matter when), you're fine.

You'll have to watch out, though. If you're printing out the tracking number early, then waiting for a DS item to come in and end up shipping it off later, one of your customers might catch on and ding you with 2 stars or less on the S&H time, which is even worse. That '2% or less items have problems or defects' requirement for TRS is absurd.

but I think you are thinking that I am receiving the item. With the DS method I am not receiving anything I am just adding the tracking number that Amazon gives me.

Oh sorry, I see what you mean now. You're using amazon's tracking number.

Well, you stillhave to upload a legit tracking number within 1 business day or you'll be out of the TRS standards. They don't care when the tracking number gets scanned, but that it has a postage scan at least somewhere along the line.

But yeah, if you can't get a legit tracking number within 1 business day, you're going to get dinged. I don't think you can enter a bogus tracking number, then edit and add another tracking number later to cover your tracks. They'll always use the first tracking number for your seller performance.

I don't know how people can do dropshipping on ebay and still maintain TRS. Unless they're dealing with super high volumes of sales or have an unrealistically dependable dropshipper source.

I think you hit the nail on the head with the high volume. The only 2 sellers I see that are doing this and have TRS are pushing very high volume. That would make sense. I guess the only way to do it is pump up the volume!

Yeah, pump up the volume. I've done this before and it just got way too hard keeping up with the 90% tracking upload requirement. Plus Amazon uses all these small shippers too

Yes the small shippers like parcel pool and ONTRAC aren't helping either!
