Amazon to eBay dropshipping..

Hey guys!

I wanted to know if it is legit to just copy the same pictures from an article from amazon and use it to sell this article on ebay to dropship from amazon to ebay?
I read that normally this aint legit, but i see so many dropshippers on ebay who just copy the pictures and description for their ebay listings.. can you get in trouble for that? Is there a way to solve this problem?

Another question is, if a customer is not happy with the article and wants to ship it back and wants his money back, how do i solve this problem? Do i let the customer pay for the shipping and send him the label for shipping back from amazon to him?

Technically it's not legit, since you don't hold the copyright or permission to use it. But realistically, if it's a stock picture, your chances of getting busted for it is small.

couple of issues here...

1. if you exactly copy other people's listing, it just becomes a race to who can survive with the least profit. Pretty soon no one makes any money selling that item.
2. The one you copy from can complain to eBay and get you shut down. I have had people try to drop ship items I have on eBay and Amazon. I don't really care as long as they don't steal my pictures and descriptions word for word. It takes me up to $200 an item to have the pictures professionally taken and if you steal my pictures I'll try to get you banned or driven out of business.

You always refund on receipt. You have no defense against someone wanting to return the item and getting a full refund, even if you list the item with no returns as terms.

If it's a customer just returning a non-defective item the customer is supposed to pay. HOWEVER, if a customer claims that the item is defective or not as described in the listing the seller is forced to pay return postage. Also you have to consider if your drop shipper will process returns. I drop ship for others but I do not process their returns. You should deal with your customers, not dump them on me to deal with. Also if you drop ship from someone in China, it takes $30 to return the same package you got free shipping to deliver in the first place, so a lot of time you'll just have to eat the losses.

Yes you can but be careful the prices are nearly the same and i think you are not the first who's doing it, but try it anyways

However, you missunderstood one point. I ment that many guys who buy on amazon and sell at ebay are just copying those pictures and descriptions from AMAZON and use it for their ebay listings to sell.
So yeah, maybe ur right, if someone pays over 100bucks for professional pictures, u should not use them. But since u use them to buy their products, doesnt this make it less important for this amazon guy to shut me down? Because i will buy his products while using his pictures.. dont know if it is understandable what i mean, i hope so, im no native english speaker haha

Yes, but how do you know that the guy selling on Amazon isn't also selling on eBay under a different name? You can't just assume that just because someone doesn't have exact same seller name on eBay he's not on eBay.

As I said in the previous post, if it's a stock picture of a commodity item, it doesn't really matter because the niche is saturated and another competitor doesn't matter. But let's say that I'm selling something unique on Amazon for $80 and eBay for $100 because the quality of buyers in that niche is a lot worse on eBay, they return a lot, there are a lot more scams, etc. so I have to operate on a higher margin. If you buy my stuff on Amazon at $80 and sell it on eBay for $99, you're basically making me sell on eBay at Amazon prices. This is why I provide little support for my dropship customers. I mean you should do SOMETHING to earn the arbitrage profits.
