Amazon Suing Fake Reviewers

Well this is interesting, thought that folks here would want to know this:

"AMAZON, the world?s largest online marketplace, is suing more than 1,000 people suspected of selling fake reviews in one of the biggest legal actions to uncover hidden identities on the internet."

I have never done any Amazon dropshipping, but I am pretty sure it is just a shitty scary move to social media to fight with the issue while actually they will never sue 1000+ people from all over the world simply because it would cost them multi-millions by simply not achieving anything at all.

Judging by other relevant articles on this matter, it seems as if they're only suing those who explicitly sell "(fake) Amazon reviews" on the likes of fiverr for ones product page on Amazon.

I agree with you, do a press release and make the news big so that people think twice about doing it. There's no way that they could police the world but Bezos does have a lot of cash to hire lawyers worldwide

Good, I hope this convinces people to flee from selling on Amazon. I can't stand what they have done to the internet. People have turned Amazon into a SERP monster of their own creation. I for one will light up a cigar on the day that paper tiger goes belly up.
