Amazon Store builder ! !

I made my own store from an Amazon Database I parsed myself of 1.5 million + items.

There are multiple options really. If you are looking to get a LOT of items, the API is DEFINITELY NOT the way to go. They have tons of restrictions, and you will need a lot of API keys to do any real type of volume product gathering.

Another solution was to ON-THE-FLY Parse Amazon's website. Only problem with this is the server will have to be pretty fast, and the pages will load slower than what it would have you had the info already parsed and saved in your own DB.

I haven't built an amazon store or ecommerce store exactly but I AM building a price comparison store. Custom script though..so might not help you.

I did however find these guys interesting, (can't post link because of low post count). Google search kaon software price comparison script.

im sure you can find the script free somewhere, on BHW perhaps.
