Hello.
I feel bad for you. Same happened to me, after very good start and good sales. ONE customer, I suspect a competitor, destroyed my account, not even by a feedback. He contacted me stating I sold a knockoff product. I didn't even want to argue. Offered a full refund. The guy directly complained to Amazon, didn't even leave a feedback. Amazon took an action, blocked the item first, then the account all together. I started to use my wife's account, they blocked it on the second day, after I spent a full day listing products.
I think we need to study well all methods of opening a new account.
I do agree with people here, that suggest to use a new IP, different computer, different address (like mailbox at UPC store), new bank account, different alias. Also, we need to understand, that Amazon software is "following" our selling patterns. If we open a completely new account that is impossible to link to an old account, but list SAME items in the same pattern (say Polo shirts and Gucci shoes), then the system will flag us immediately. I think, we need to create a new account, then change selling patterns, sell something different and slowly insert "old" items we used to sell, but again, slowly, after month or two.
I know this thread is pretty old but Vachagan you are correct.... I was banned for going under performance from seller metrics...(a few a##hole customers) with over $8K witthheld... But it was my fault for not putting accurate shipping times from dropshipping from China. So I stopped dropshipping and started shipping for myself... My metrics started to improve greatly but not fast enough for Amazon. I was selling on Amazon for about 9 months and at that point I was making $3000 weekly profit... Not sales but profit.... So after I was banned (learning from ebay and paypal) I opened a new account with:
1. Family Name (Amazon link names) with different address (Amazon link addresses, but this is somewhat possible to be acceptable as Amazon understands many ppl move but why chance it)
2. Opened a new bank account in that name (Amazon link bank accounts)
3. New laptop (Amazon link MAC numbers)
4. A Verizon jetpack (in that persons name) (Amazon link ip addresses)
5. Verified with CC from the new setup account and routing numbers from bank.
I began to immediately sell again. I listed under the same products from when I was originally banned.
Then I got banned the second time....Within a week.
I didnt get banned from the 1st time from selling from items so i didnt why I would the second time around... but with a new account certain items are flagged on Amazon.
Made about $1400 in 2 days with my left over product from the 1st banning and now it was locked up for 60 days (AGAIN)....
I was really hesitant to try again but the earning potential was too enticing not to try. In addition, I have a lage family but not many I want to trust having large amounts of cash that they could easily have access too.
So I try again....
Same set up as before but with a different family member.
Rewind a bit.
When I first started selling on I didnt sell certain products... I sold regular items for 3 months, until I was looking for something for myself and i came across a vero item. I said to myself, "Wow Amazon allows this? " So I started to sell it myself, and it sold fast.... like the same day. So I started to sell more.... but you get the idea..
Back to present time.
So Im on my 3rd Amazon account
I slowly sell regular items that i know will sell for about 4 months..
Then i slowly integrated other items and wala.... I didnt get banned
1 1/2 year and still not banned (crossing my fingers, knocking on wood, throwing salt over my shoulder, and avoiding black cats)
But there are 3 other tips a person should know but I do not know if I can post it here...
I do not know about Amazon, ebay, or paypal ghost or stealth accounts but I do know what I have tried, failed, and succeeded at...
I know how frustrating it is to be doing so well then have it all taken from you...
Its an extreme shock to the system...
I usually do not make post but I have learned a lot from here so I figured maybe my little 2 cents my help someone in their journey
