    Hi

I have an Amazon affiliate account and recently I wanted to test their affiliate program so I sent a few links to some friends to purchase through my affiliate link.

There where about 100+ clicks with around 25 conversions. I can see Amazon credited my account for a few sales but most of them (the more recent ones) have not been credited even though the items have already shipped out (athough they where not delivered as of yet - but they did ship).

I can see these under "ordered items" but they don't show up under "earnings".

Doesn't Amazon credit affiliate accounts once an item ships? What does this mean?

    Thanks

I am looking for an explanation too, I really had high hopes with Amazon, it would suck to know they shave too.

I never faced this problem. I got 4 seals & they all are credited.

Any Amazon Expert who can explain this ?

Amazon doesn't shave. Must be something particular to the kind of item you sold. Is it sold by a 3rd party? Give it a few more days, or contact them directly.

Thanks for reply. I know the items are eligible for credit. In fact I'vce been credited for the very same items another time.

My only hope is that Amazon will credit it after item is actually delivered but as far as I understood credit happens when item ships.

    Hands tied.

Far as I knew that is correct, the shipping date was the credit date. Their policies change, maybe these are no longer elligible?

August 2014 I sold 4 luxury rolex watches and bunch of other expensive brands and lot of them are not shipped, but beside that, I sold 60 + other electronic items, and only one of them got returned.

Shit, I don't know what s happening, it could be that someone is returning item, and someone cancel order, but only expensive ones? Dude

I can't honestly see Amazon doing people out of commissions for transactions that can so easily be traced and checked. As one member said, you can get your family to order items and you'll know they've been delivered so you can easily check that you get commissions for those.

While many networks may twist people out of their earnings and call it 'shaving' (which is just another name for "theft") I can't see Amazon doing this.

On occasions there may a glitch in the system and don't get credited for some sales. Maybe the best thing to do, in this case, is to allow Amazon a few more days and see if you do get credit for the sales.

    Thanks,

    Shez

I'm not an expert but if I understand OP statement, if the items or product is already shipped but not yet received by the customer your earning will still not show up, I manage to sell 5 and as off today they not yet reach the customer house so my earning still not add-up.
As my experience to amazon it will credit as soon as the customer received the product.

If I misunderstood the op statements kindly ignore this post thanks :p

Don't worry, Amazon can be a little slow sometimes. Just wait a little bit ;)

Yes, you only get your commission once the item is shipped and I think there is either a 30 or 60 day wait to get paid in case the customer returns the item.

Sometimes the item is out of stock or the customer changes their mind so items will show as 'ordered' but never 'shipped' so you won't earn anything from them.
